SFI launches Ther-Biotic® Complete in South Korea
SFI partners with GreenCross WellBeing (GCWB) to host one of the largest ever Klaire Labs probiotic medical launch
SFI partnered with GreenCross Wellbeing to host one of the largest Klaire Labs probiotic medical launches in South Korea in October 2016. Ther-Biotic Complete was launched to over 400 healthcare professionals.
Australian Trade and Investment Commission’s Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, Ms Amanda Hodges opened the event, with the Chair of Seoul Physicians Mr Jong-woong Kim and CEO of Green Cross Wellbeing Mr Young-hyo Yoo providing key note speeches.
Special guests at the event also included Austrade’s Senior Business Development Manager Ms Juliet Woo, Government of Western Australia representative Mr Jean Ough and New South Wales Trade and Investment Director representative Ms Yoojin Kim.
At the launch event, ProThera Dr Stephen Olmstead spoke to healthcare professionals on ‘Probiotics and GI and Immune Systems Health’, with Korean specialists Dr Dong HwanKim focussing on ‘Intraveneous Nutrient Therapy for Dysbiosis and Leaky Gut’ and Dr Kyung Chul Kim discussing ‘Management of Stress With Balanced Nutrition’.
GreenCross also hosted a separate medical round table event in follow up to the launch, with over 20 key opinion leaders (KOLs) attending. The event was very well received with KOLs discussing a number of probiotic topics with Dr Olmstead. The discussions helped strengthen ProThera and Klaire Labs’ brand presence as the leading brand of choice for doctors in Korea.
“Korea is a market with a long and deep history of understanding the importance of natural medicine products. It has been a fantastic opportunity to introduce Ther-Biotic Complete into this market. As we make inroads into the Korean market, we look forward to introducing a wider selection of our natural medicine product range.”
